Sustainable Agriculture Promotion (SAP) are specialty coffee producers in Bagmati province, Nepal.
We have 1,000 Arabica bushes shaded by young trees and medicinal plants. Our coffee plants are also young, and we are building a strong future from scratch using the very best information and agricultural practices.
Our coffee grows in different districts with variations in altitude and temperature, from 1,000–1,300m ASL, in subtropical zones with average temperatures of 25–30⁰C.
Our shade plants are macadamia, avocado, and banana. They provide a forest structure and habitat for birds, which helps minimise pests. Water comes from streams or ponds and is saved in tanks for summer. Our coffee is eco-friendly, bird-friendly, and sustainable.
We support our farmers to grow coffee naturally, without the use of chemicals. We provide free seedlings, farm inputs and training.
We have 2,000 Bourbon and yellow Caturra seedlings growing at our coffee nursery, Namuna. Both are high quality, flavoursome and robust varieties. We plan to expand to 6,000–9,000 seedlings by 2025.
We aim to deliver complete customer satisfaction and only sell 100% natural coffee grown with organic practices.
